Draft for review. Publisher and contact details must be completed before public launch.
Draft prepared October 7, 2026 · Publisher: Hams
This draft describes Rift Recall 1.0.0 and this static website preview. It must be reviewed and updated before publication or changes to data handling.
Data stored on your computer
Rift Recall stores gameplay recordings, Favorite clips, match details, Riot IDs, game events, ranks where available, recording settings, notes, tags, collections and compact performance history locally. Saved dashboards and clip edit preferences are also stored locally.
You choose the recording folder. Match metadata and preferences are stored in the app’s local data directory. Performance history can remain after a video is deleted so Trends can still show those matches.
Audio you choose to record
Game-only mode records League audio on compatible Windows builds. Computer-audio modes can capture voices, music and other applications. Microphone audio is included only when enabled. Consider the privacy of people whose voices may be recorded and obtain any consent required where you live.
Connections and third parties
The app reads local League Client and Live Client Data APIs for match information. It can request game assets from Riot’s Data Dragon servers. OP.GG buttons open the selected player’s Riot ID and server in your browser. These external services may receive your IP address and the information included in the request and have their own privacy policies.
Rift Recall’s current release does not upload recordings or notes to a Rift Recall server. It has no cloud backup, payment integration or advertising integration.
This website
This preview uses no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies, external fonts or contact forms. A future hosting provider may keep ordinary request logs such as IP addresses and requested pages. The provider and retention details must be added when hosting is selected.
Your controls
You can turn automatic recording off, choose what audio is recorded, delete recordings and manage storage limits. Favorite clips are protected from automatic cleanup. Removing a video does not necessarily remove its retained match statistics. A complete user-data deletion procedure and privacy contact must be documented before public launch.
Planned features
API-backed history, subscriptions and advertising are planned. They are not active in this release. This policy must be updated to describe actual account data, backend storage, providers, retention and deletion controls before those features launch.
